Doing a full HM elite mission/area takes some skill. Most would not consider doing a full HM run in Urgoz/UW/DoA/Fow/Deep as grinding. On the other hand, doing some lame dungeon that u can finish in 15-30 min with h/h over and over again just for 1 in a million chance of getting a drop is considered grinding in the exact meaning of the word. Best example is the snowmen dungeon when it dropped that polar bear mini.

Learn the difference between high end PvE and skill-less grinding.

Haha..I woke up thinking the frog wand might be in bogroot's. Glad to see someone found it. The picture is kind of bad and it doesnt look all that great. Anyway, must find one! I need to see it for myself before i make a final decision! Bwahaha! *runs off to bogroots*

(me too no like chest 'running'---no money for lockpicks and such).

Cosy, I've been trying to post locations but a lot of people are not revealing where they are dropped. Which is okay really. But if they mention where they got it, I put it down. Otherwise they haven't said. If I'm missing locations please let me know. I try to follow the thread but I'm sure I've missed some.

Inde the locations of all I know/heard are as follows.

Frog Scepter- Bogroot Locked Chests.
Obsidian Edge- FoW end chest.
Demonic Aegis- DoA (Guessing), ZChest and FoW end chest.
Draconic Shield-ZChest and Dalada Uplands Locked Chests, I'm guessing it also drops from other Charr area locked chests and maybe some of the dungeons but don't take that last part for certain.
Emerald Blade- No word yet.
Celestial Compass- ZChest and Dalada Upland's Locked Chests.
Serpentine-Vabbian Chests.

I got a req 12 str Deamonic Aegis from the FOW end chest. I have a screen shot if I have to post it. I quickly sold it afterward because you could just watch their price dropping...lol

O... My... Gods. O_O My Mesmer is praying to Lyssa right now for that Frog Scepter. -drool-

EDIT: The first guy I saw with a Demonic Aegis said he got his from the Zaishen Chest. I've been doing my best to farm Balthazar faction since in the hopes of getting a Frog Scepter, Draconic Shield or Celestial Compass, but because of my computer's relentless lag last night, I was only able to get one chest... And it was a Kappa Shield.

Though my boyfriend was lucky enough to get an Amethyst Aegis, that jerk...

I have yet to see that one Dragon Scythe from the contest yet, or any of the spears. I hope they do show up in the future.
